So many of the women I coach have tracked macros and hate it. I promise I will never ask you to do something time-consuming and tedious if it doesn't directly relate to you getting to your goal!
Let’s talk about tracking macros and why it’s more than just numbers on a screen.
If you’ve ever tracked your macros but didn’t truly understand what you were tracking, you might feel like it’s a tedious chore. But here’s the secret: the real value of tracking isn’t in being perfect or hitting your numbers perfectly—it’s in the education. 📚
When you track your food, you’re learning the composition of what you eat—how proteins, carbs, and fats make up the meals fueling your body. Over time, this knowledge becomes second nature, helping you make smarter choices without second-guessing.
Think of it like learning a new skill:
🏋️♀️ Just like practicing your form in the gym to get stronger.
🎨 Or learning the basics of art before creating a masterpiece.
Food tracking is no different. It’s an investment in your understanding of nutrition, so you can build a foundation that supports your goals—whether that’s fat loss, muscle gain, or simply feeling your best.
It’s not about being perfect. It’s about using tracking as a tool to educate yourself. The time you spend now pays off in confidence and results down the road.
💡 Takeaway: Don’t just track to hit numbers—track to learn. It’s not a chore, it’s a skill that gives you more freedom and control in the long run. 🎉
